#508 - Sitting Pinup Bathing Beauty - $36

This is a neat bathing beauty wall hanging in black and ivory.  She appears to be made out of wood with metal hangers/hooks coming down from the stripes she is sitting on.  Could be used for a garmet, jewelry, towel hanger... the possibilities are endless as to what she could be used for.  She is 8 1/2" tall.  Really pretty piece.

#502 - Larry Nunn Mermaid Shell Dish - SOLD

This is a beautiful Mermaid bathing beauty figurine sitting atop a platform dish filled with shells.  Sorry the shells are not included... you have to put your own shells in the dish!  The colors and design of this set indicate she was made in the late 50's.  Larry Nunn created molds of this mermaid with her hand different positions... one has the hand on the thigh, one open handed (like the one in this listing), and the 3rd one had her hand outstretched.  What is neat about the way this one's arm is positioned, is that you can put a shell in her hand, or even a flower if you want.  It was designed with nothing in the hand but it looks cute with something in it too.  In the larger picture I show the piece without any shells... it is actually and ashtray!  I found a better use for it with all my special finds from vacations in Florida.  :)  Obviously you can use it any way you want and you can put any special shell in her hand.  You can always find a shell that just slips in her hand without gluing it.  The only flaw was done in the manufacturing process which is a glaze skip in the middle.. the color is still there, it's just a glaze skip.  Not anything major at all.  A beautiful example of a Larry Nunn Mermaid. 

#501 - Nude Porcelain Bisque Bathing Beauty in Shell - $160

Fine all porcelain bisque 4 1/2" bathing beauty sea creature. The hand painted details on her are gorgeous and she is in excellent shape with no chips or cracks. I love the flowing hair on this one.  Look at the big pictures (click on the picture to the right).  I display her laying on a shell because you can't see her face that well if she is laying flat on the counter... plus the hair looks so much nicer when her head is up higher.   The shell I display her with goes perfectly with her.  If you want the shell, let me know, otherwise I will ship her without the shell and you can use one of your own.  She would go great with both bathing beauty and mermaid collections.  

#50 - Chalkware Hawaiian Pinup - $60

This is a 9"pinup that is very hard to find in the great condition as this one is in. There are no chips or cracks on the pinup.  The only thing I can point out is that the Lei has cracked over time. It could easily be fixed with some air dry clay. She would make a wonderful addition to any bathing beauty collection.
